Proposed Changes
Adds a basic tutorial for the aeroacoustic pressure spectrum postprocessing workflow.
The tutorial explains how uniformly sampled pressure fluctuations are converted from the time domain to a frequency-domain spectrum using Welch averaging. It demonstrates how to run
aeroacoustics.py, inspect OASPL and dominant-frequency results, and generate pressure-history and narrowband SPL plots. It also describes how segment length, overlap, window selection, detrending, and skipped samples affect the resulting spectrum.
Related Work
Related to the aeroacoustics postprocessing feature added in su2code/SU2#2851.
The pressure history and plotting script are provided in su2code/Tutorials#87.
