SwiftGenericAlertViewController

A modular framework for custom alert-style view controllers that hold a table, an image, or input fields, styled to match your app instead of the system UIAlertController.

Swift UIKit Built

Alert with table content Alert with image content Alert with input fields

What it demonstrates

  • Turning an app-level component (GenericPopovers) into a reusable, modular library
  • One base alert view controller with interchangeable content: table, image, or text inputs
  • Theming hooks so alerts match the host app's colours and fonts
  • Packaging with CocoaPods podspecs for both a framework and a static-library variant

Requirements

  • Xcode 10 or later
  • Swift 5

Installation

Add the GenericPopover sources to your project manually, or use the included podspecs as a starting point for a private pod.

Example

Open GenericPopover.xcodeproj and run the example app on a simulator to see each alert type.
