I build tools that give AI agents useful jobsβand give humans fewer things to babysit.
My current rabbit hole: how to work with Claude Code and Codex, from writing a clear issue to reviewing what actually ships. This has somehow involved recruiting Apple Calendar into the engineering team.
git-hired is my take on building software with AI: humans frame the problem, agents do the work, and humans make the final call.
The workflow goes from a well-defined issue through an isolated development environment, AI implementation, AI review, human judgment, and production. Clear constraints up front. Someone actually reading the diff before merge.
It includes real incident write-ups, because βthe code looked fineβ is a surprisingly expensive sentence.
my-calendar brings that workflow onto a Mac, using Apple Calendar as the place where code-review results show up.
- Push code β an AI reviews the PR.
- Check Calendar β find the verdict and review link.
- Launch a fix β open a local AI session from the calendar event.
The workflow keeps its state in local files and connects to GitHub and coding agents for reviews and fixes.
It started as a holiday and gift reminder. It still does that, too. Scope creep now has calendar access.
