Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently we're rendering our view as desktop view by default.
Describe the solution you'd like
We should render the web view as android view for our android users, also some views should seen as desktop view, so there should be an option to switch from desktop view to android view and vice versa.

    @gouri-panda This ZIM does not support Android view. If a ZIM supports the Android View. Then it will automatically adjust according to the screen size.

    What does "support android view" means? Is it something different than being responsive to screen size?

    @gouri-panda Can you please exactly tell us what is the problem with this ZIM on your Android device? You have put screenshots, but to us it is not clear what is wrong in the screenshots.

    More exactly, to me it is clear that HTML page is not really responsive and screenshots clearly shows this is wrong. We should probably hide / move the sidebar when on small screens, just like it happens on devdocs.io website.

    But I'm concerned about the "support android view" meaning, @gouri-panda can you confirm this is only about responsiveness or is there anything else behind these words?

    @gouri-panda

    @kelson42 @benoit74 Sorry for the late reply! Yes @benoit74 you're on the right track! Currently, the application renders the web view in desktop mode by default for all users, including Android users. It doesn't fill like they are not browsing in the native touch devices. Here were common issues i found

    • We should probably hide / move the sidebar when on small screens, just like it happens on devdocs.io website.

    • Ui elements appear too small on Android screens.
    • Navigation and interactions are not optimized(touch)
    • Certain layouts are difficult to use on smaller screens.

    Also i want to add a option that lets user to switch to desktop view like in the browser.

    Let me know if you want further details and any help :)

    Thank you, we will fix all that in the scraper so that ZIM is responsive to screen size.
