Hey I'm Lucas 👋🏼

I'm an engineer, researcher and product designer.

I was born in São Paulo, grew up in Sydney and now living in New York City.

I wrote my first line of PHP when I was 16. Since then I've dabbled in fusion research as an undergrad, but realised the inflection point for robotics is much closer. So I recently left my job at PwC where I built trust infrastructure for AI-era media, to go all-in and wrote an 100-page honours thesis on post-training robots.

As a deep generalist with experience, I've built vertically integrated systems, from large-scale document ingestion platforms to real-time machine learning running on-device. You can read more about me on my website lbxa.net.
