Custom email template for GitHub notifications #49280

To customize the email template used for notifications in GitHub Enterprise Server 3.5.1, you can follow these general steps:
GitHub Enterprise Server does not provide a supported way to replace the built-in notification email templates with custom HTML/text templates. For GHES 3.5.1, administrators can configure email delivery under: Management Console → Settings → Email These settings control SMTP/email delivery, not the content or layout of GitHub's notification emails. [GitHub Enterprise Server — Configuring email for notifications](https://docs.github.com/en/enterprise-server@3.5/admin/configuring-settings/configuring-user-applications-for-your-enterprise/configuring-email-for-notifications?utm_source=chatgpt.com) If custom notification content or branding is required, it would need to be handled outside GitHub, such as through mail-server processing or a separate notification system. Hi All,
Generally, we receive notifications from GitHub about any activity performed on our subscribed repository such as push, pull request/ issue activities, mentions. but, the notification email has a default template defined/created by GitHub. is there any way, we can add a custom email template for such notifications?
