Copilot Pro Subscription (Legacy) - Deprecation Dates #209212

If your Copilot Pro annual subscription is still on the legacy premium-request billing model and runs through February 2027, GitHub’s documentation says you can remain on that plan until it ends. Your plan will continue using premium requests and the applicable model multipliers; after the annual plan ends, it will automatically downgrade to Copilot Free. GitHub is also listing replacement models for retired models—for example, Claude Opus 4.7 → Claude Opus 5, Gemini 3.5/3.6 Flash → Gemini 3.8 Flash, and Kimi K2.7 Code → Kimi K3. The current model-retirement table shows several retirements scheduled for October 2, 2026, so it would be useful to identify exactly which models disappeared from your account. I would recommend: Check the https://docs.github.com/en/copilot/reference/ai-models/supported-models. |

Hello,
You are removing a lot of the models that i have paid for on my Pro Subscription (now legacy).
How can we mitigate this as the value will become 0 when only those without an exclamation mark remains.
My subscription runs until February 2027 - can you open up for replacement models?
